The GMC originally sold for about $10,000 per unit. By the time the accounting was done after four years of production, GM estimated that it cost them about $100,000 per vehicle.
From it’s inception, this was the motorhome of choice for the engineering community. Over the years the GMC has had a strong organization of clubs across the country, regular publications and a sharing of interests. There was been a continual ‘tweaking’ of everthing from windshield wipers to brakes and suspension.
